Renewable Natural Gas

Renewable natural gas begins very humbly, as waste from biological organisms. Amazingly, science can take what is leftover from biomass, broken down by a naturally occurring process called anaerobic digestion, and repurpose it into fuel for everyday tasks. This process helps to negate the waste leftover from animals, humans, and farming.

We act as a merchant entity in gathering, storing, and selling low carbon intensity renewable natural gas projects and related LCFS and RIN environmental attributes. UET is active in LCFS and RIN trading and hedging to support our renewable diesel and natural gas customers.

Exists in two different states of matter, liquid or gas

Can be used to power cars, heat homes, and cook food

Completely interchangeable with natural gas

Reduces the need for fossil fuels
